A Vision Taking Shape

Another of our cherished visions is a center of education set within the jungle landscape of Valle Armonia — a place where people of all ages can come together to learn through doing, building, and creating side by side.

Rethinking How We Learn

We want to reconnect learning to the natural world, to practical skills, to real life experience. Our intention is to create a new model for an educational center, where people of all ages will work and learn together, building, growing, making, and truly understanding the systems that support life. We acknowledge the blurred lines between teacher and pupil, where both come out of the connection more aware and with greater insights into what they are trying to achieve. I'm sure you can imagine education being different. Inspiring, not boring. Grounded, not abstract. Participatory, not passive. Shared through action and creating, not separated by age and egoic hierarchy. We all have much to learn! It's time we come together to make the wisest decisions, in order to create a world wide shift.

A Place Where Learning Is Lived

We will create a space where learning happens through experience. Set in nature, this project will be a collection of workshop spaces where people of different ages can work and learn alongside one another — building, creating, and inspiring each other in the same environment. Not through instruction alone, but through shared activity, shared ideas, and shared lives. Creatively coming together to produce natural products and solutions, to learn hand crafts and life lessons. To share new perspectives and old. Set in the context of consciously created permaculture and agroforestry based communities, we will use restorative democratic justice to run the center fairly and responsibly together.

Why This Matters

This is about more than a single place. It's about exploring a model of education that is rooted in real-world skills, connected to the environment, collaborative and community-driven, and shared across ages, not divided by them. Where knowledge is not just delivered—but lived, demonstrated, and experienced together.

What We're Building Now

We are currently raising funds to develop the core structures. This will include structural frameworks and roofing for workshop buildings, a multipurpose space, a natural jungle gym play and exercise area, and furnishings for the first three workshops. These spaces will allow learning to begin happening in a real and shared way.
